PLEASE NOTE:
I don't want to sound rude, but... I get over two dozen genealogy related messages directed to me each day, and I'm finding it hard to answer every one. Read the F.A.Q. below, and if you can't find the answer there, then click on the link at the bottom to send me a message.
1) - The search engine at www.familysearch.org is brain-dead. I have a Patrick
Carney and a Matt Greenberg on my family tree, and you go to the LDS site and key in your
ancestor as being Patrick Greenberg of Helsinki Finland, my site shows up - even though
there is no connection at all. If you cannot find the exact name you are looking
for, it isn't here. Really.
2) - If your query is about someone named Carney, I would suggest joining the Carney-L
list (if you haven't already) by sending a message to CARNEY-L-request@rootsweb.com that
contains the word subscribe and nothing else. Once you're signed up
you can post a query on the list. Right now we have about 125 members from Ireland to North
America to Australia - and we're growing every day....someone may have information for
you.
If your question doesn't fall under any of the above, then feel free to send me an e-mail message. I try to answer them as quickly as possible, but be patient as it may take a bit for a reply.
Oh, and if you have looked at the data here and believe you are related to me, PLEASE WRITE! I love getting those sorts of messages!
