This is a photograph of my local pub the Old Anchor Inn it sits adjacent to the old riverbank and has a nice beer garden .It serves hot food on most days of the week and is owned by Malcolm and Christine Greenslade.  Malcolm is a keen sports enthusiast and was hooker for the mighty Old Thornensians one of the strongest teams in Yorkshire in the 70's and 80's.
