I am part of a Beegan family that settled in New York. I looked at the picture of Dorothy, and thought I noticed a family resemblance (who knows). Do you know what part of Ireland your family came from?. I am working on the family tree, but have much work still to do. If you would like more info on our Beegan family e-mail me.
For your info: There is a Park in California called Patrick's Point it is named for a Patrick Beegan. The love interest in Billy Joel's life is Caroline Beegan she is supposed to be the daughter to my Nana's cousin.
